Overview
GERMAN SURVIVAL COURSE
- Learning by listening, lots of speaking, active practice
- Recommended not to write down translation of German words or phrases into English, as an artificial step will be created that restrains the participant to learn faster
- At the end of each class students will get introduced to a phrase of farewell (e.g. “Auf Wiedersehen!”, “Bis zum nächsten Montag!”, “Schönes Wochenende!”)
- Focus on pronunciation, understanding and producing key sounds
- Students do not need to bring anything to class (maybe pencil), everything will be provided by the teacher
- Using as much as possible German vocabulary, that students already know, therefore increasing the use of the target language
